ERP/HCM Project Managers

Objective: To oversee and manage the successful implementation and delivery of ERP and HCM systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organisation, while aligning with budgetary constraints and timeframes.

1. Key Responsibilities:

   1. Planning & Strategy:

      • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan that includes all tasks, milestones, and deliverables.

      • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

   2. Team Management:

      • Lead and manage the project team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training.

      • Foster a positive team environment, promoting open communication and encouraging feedback.

   3. Stakeholder Management:

      • Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.

      • Ensure effective communication between the project team, vendors, and other stakeholders.

   4. Risk Management:

      • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

      • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

   5. Budget Management:

      • Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that the project remains within allocated funds.

      • Track project expenses and ensure financial transparency.

   6. Quality Assurance:

      • Ensure that the implemented ERP and HCM systems meet the quality standards set by the organisation.

      • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with best practices.

   7. Documentation:

      • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring that all project data and updates are accurately recorded.

      • Ensure documentation is accessible to relevant stakeholders.

   8. Training & Support:

      • Oversee the training of end-users and ensure they are equipped to use the new systems effectively.

      • Provide post-implementation support and address any issues that arise.

   Key Requirements:

   1. Educational Background:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.

   2. Experience:

      • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years specifically in ERP and/or HCM implementations.

      • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion.

   3. Skills:

      • Strong leadership and team management skills.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

      • Proficient in project management software and tools.

      • Strong understanding of ERP and HCM systems and their application in business environments.

   4. Certifications:

      • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.

      • Certifications in specific ERP or HCM platforms can be advantageous.

   5. Personal Qualities:

      • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.

      • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

      • Proactive and forward-thinking.

      • Adaptable and able to handle change effectively.

   6. Other:

      • Authorisation to work in Australia.

      • Willingness to travel, as the role may require occasional visits to different company sites or vendors.
